The ideal candidate would be a man of family values, embracing our church’s vision. The
Candidate should lead the Elders on our Leadership Council. The Candidate must be a
graduate in good standing of an accredited college or university, preferably someone with or
working toward a Master’s Degree or equivalent. The Candidate must be ordained or willing to
be ordained as a Pastor by our congregation.
He should meet the biblical qualifications of an Elder; 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-
He should be gifted in the areas of spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and truthfully
interpreting Scripture through meaningful application in preaching and teaching. He should lead
in worship service planning, officiate marriages and funerals, and administer the Lord’s Table
and Believer’s Baptism. He should embrace our Statement of Faith as a valid expression of
