Responsible for modeling what it means to be an authentic follower of Jesus Christ at home, at church, and in the community, the Pastor of Middle School Ministries must demonstrate a firm commitment to Calvary’s Articles of Faith, Mission & Purpose, and Philosophy of Ministry and commit to pray for Calvary Church as well as the overall student ministry.
The Pastor of Middle School Ministries works under the supervision of the Chief of Staff and is responsible for overseeing the ministry of students and their families in grades 6-8. He is expected to work closely with the Children’s Ministry Director, High School Pastor and other pastors to ensure the Middle School ministry fits in the overall mission of equipping students to be and make authentic followers of Jesus Christ.

The Special Needs Coordinato r is an integral part of ministry and is responsible for providing Biblical leadership, support and encouragement to the special needs community of Calvary Church.
Essential Duties:
The Coordinator engages with Special Needs students, (preschool - adult), and their families with the goal of coming alongside to encourage each student and help them learn understand Biblical truths. Developing connections to families both here at church and in their other environments is a key function of this role. Must have experience working with a wide range of special needs disabilities. As a member of the Children’s Ministry Team, you are expected to participate in team and church wide events.
