Put your office skills to work in a place where ministry opportunities abound. The church is growing rapidly in the Middle East, but pastoral training is scarce. We have 100 pastors/church leaders waiting for ministry training. Come to assist our national Entrust staff team with clerical and administrative tasks, freeing them to carry out their leadership training, equipping and encouraging ministries. You will get involved in hands-on ministry along with them. This position is ideal for a couple or an individual; knowledge of one of the local languages would be a plus but not required. You will raise a ministry support team before you go, and your impact will be eternal.
Entrust's vision is, "To see multiplying leaders for multiplying churches." We do this through our mission statement, "To multiply church leaders through accessible, locally owned,
reproducible training systems."
Entrust is an organization strategically positioned to equip other ministries with the tools necessary to train men and women to lead a rapidly growing church around the world. Currently, Entrust is equipping indigenous ministries to train leaders in Europe, the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Latin America and North America.
What sets Entrust apart from other Christian organizations? We've outlined three key principles that inspire our approach to leadership training. These distinctive are "Locally-driven," "Learner-driven," and "Lifestyle-driven."
Locally-driven. Entrust begins by assessing, “What kind of training might leaders readily utilize and multiply in this context? How can we supply that sort of leadership training to those?” Then, in collaboration with local Christian leaders, we develop locally sustainable and reproducible training systems. We design our training to be accessible, relevant and readily multiplied in any location.
Learner-driven. Entrust begins by asking, “What does the learner already know? And, what does each unique ministry context require a learner to know?” Then, in collaboration with local Christian leaders, we assist in equipping the learner with biblical skills and understanding not readily available in that context. We design our training to build on the learner’s current knowledge to promote ongoing equipping for biblical ministry.
Lifestyle-driven. Entrust begins by discovering, “What are the challenges of living a life for Christ in this culture? What does it look like to be a transformed disciple of Jesus here?” Then, in collaboration with local Christian leaders, we develop training materials and mentoring opportunities to build up obedient followers of Christ. We design our training with the goal of personal, church and community transformation.
Our core methods include contextualization, mentoring, employing current understanding of best practices in adult learning in all of our training, and crafting and using questions in learning settings.
