As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the crucial lifeline that enables Bible translation projects to move forward around the world!

Today, over 2000 people groups, 150 million people, still don’t have the Bible translated into their languages! Wycliffe USA believes the Word of God can transform lives when people hear it in their own language or form, and we urgently need you to join the team!

Job Location: Dallas, Texas

One day you might create support articles for IT topics. Another day you might troubleshoot problems with a translator’s laptop running linguistic software and even train them on the use of a new business application. Later you might analyze trends and develop strategies and testing for improvements.

You are the one who makes technology accessible to end users, so they are able to use technology to accomplish and enhance their work.

This job might be for you if…

  • You like helping people. You’re patient. You know how to translate “computer-ese” to someone’s grandma.
  • Not only is having multiple irons in the fire exhilarating for you, but you are able to maintain a zen-like calm through the chaos.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in IT.
  • You love to learn new things, and you tackle new problems and new software with enthusiasm.
  • You have earned at least an Associate degree in telecommunications, computer science or a related field of study, or have equivalent experience.
  • You are the go-to person for troubleshooting IT problems.
  • Although you are happy working by yourself, you also thrive in a team.
  • You’re bursting with knowledge about IT industry best practices, business productivity software, common operating systems, backup and restoration practices, mobile devices, hardware configuration, and network connectivity/workstation configuration.

It’s a bonus if…

  • You have customer service experience.
