What is the Serge Apprenticeship Program?
The Serge Apprenticeship Program is an 18-24 month intensive missions training program that provides an opportunity to serve on an existing ministry team and grow in the gospel. Through ministry service, 1-on-1 mentorship, cross-cultural training, and a lifestyle of prayer, the Apprenticeship Program raises up future long-term ministry workers who are thoughtful, prayerful, and sustainable. Our vision for London
London is perhaps the most diverse city on the planet. Having such an array of languages, beliefs, and ethnicities makes it a strategic focus for missionaries desiring to reach post-modern Europeans as well as the hundreds of thousands of immigrants from countries with little or no gospel witness.
Serge teams in London seek to spur a movement of new churches consisting of and committed to the alternative, marginalized, and urban poor populations in this part of the city. They engage in –
What does an Apprenticeship in London look like?
London Apprentices have high ministry contact, a big change in culture, independence, lots of people to lean on, lots of areas to grow, a strong church network, stable structures to work inside, and lots of fun.
Who is the Apprenticeship in London for?
Support Raising
As a Serge Apprentice, you are paid a salary. Apprentices are required to raise 100% of their salaries, ministry expenses, and administrative expenses to serve overseas. The amount you need to raise can vary significantly depending on the country of service, marital status, experience, and job requirements.
When you are appointed to go with Serge, you are assigned a Support Coach who will guide you step-by-step through the entire support-raising process, with regular calls for check-ins and prayer. We know it can be daunting, but we also believe there’s no better way that the Lord prepares us for the field. You can expect challenges and growth in this journey, but you can also expect a dedicated mentor along the way. You will never be walking it alone.

Serge is an international missions organization that sees God weaving together the frayed edges of our tattered world with His goodness, creating something beautiful.
At Serge, we believe we need the gospel as much as anyone else. It was while doing cross-cultural, team-oriented ministry that we discovered how challenging it is to be grounded in a biblical identity as sons and daughters of God—so, we began to develop discipling resources to preach the gospel to ourselves – so that we could go into the broken places of our world to reach souls, renew hearts and restore communities.
Today, our work consists of sending and caring for missionaries, mentoring and discipling ministry leaders around the world, and developing gospel-centered resources — such as Sonship and The Gospel-Centered Life — for on-going gospel renewal.
