The purpose of this Church is to be used of the Holy Spirit to bring the salvation of souls, develop believers to maturity (Ephesians 4:11-13) and to remain under the authority of the Word ordained by God as contained in the Holy Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16).  Because Living Word Fellowship Church of Houston is a body of believers, we believe the mission of this Church is to make disciples (Acts 2:42; Matthew 28:19-20).  Since we believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, it is our purpose to draw from the scriptures the principles that determine our beliefs and behaviors.  These principles are derived from a a literal, grammatical, and historical interpretation of the entire Bible.  As the name of the Church infers, it is the living word of God rather than the word of men that ultimately directs our Church.  Living Word Fellowship Church of Houston is presently not affiliated with any denomination.  This is because it is our desire to be unhampered by any restrictions and decisions made by and adopted by other churches or denominations that would determine the ministry and message of Living Word Fellowship Church of Houston.  Living Word Fellowship Church of Houston has six major areas through which it fulfills it's mission in the world:  Family, Worship, Discipleship, Christian Education, Fellowship and Outreach|Evangelism.  We believe that each member of the body has been given a spiritual gift by the Holy Spirit which each is to discover.  It is our goal to see that these spiritual gifts are exercised, which will contribute to the life of the body.  All things are to be done in the  name and in honor of our Savior, King of kings, Lord of lords, Jesus Christ.
