My husband and I are committed Christians and our faith is central to our lives!  We have four kiddos (6, 4, 2, and a new baby born this past September). We value reading, creativity, spending time outdoors, being fairly low tech (we don't have a TV and our kids rarely do screen time), and intentional relationships. We are inspired by the writings of Charlotte Mason, and have been heavily involved with The Field School, a multiracial classical Christian school on the west side which we helped found. I work as an NP at Lawndale Christian Health Center. We love old houses (and home renovation projects!), the city, eating outside, gardening/landscaping/caring for our backyard chickens, spending time with friends, hanging outside with our little crew, and connecting with others. We moved to Chicago from Los Angeles in 2010, but both spent many of our growing up years in the Midwest!
