Cedar Creek Church, Hayfield, MN is accepting applications for a full-time solo pastor. As a bedroom- community centered between Rochester (home to the world-renowned Mayo Clinic), Austin (also known as SPAMtown, USA recognizing Hormel Foods Corporation headquarters), and Owatonna (location of Federated Insurance and Viracon headquarters) highway accessibility provides the conveniences and attractions of city life. The Hayfield School District offers a newly renovated and updated building which houses Pre-K to grade 12 students with a small student teacher ratio. The Cedar Creek family of 100+ reflects the wide range of socio-economic backgrounds found within our community.

Major responsibilities associated with this position are preaching and teaching a biblical and life-applicable message is of utmost importance to us. Additionally, as individuals and a church body we are invested in our community. We are also committed to sharing the message of salvation beyond the walls of our church building and the boundaries of our rural community. We, therefore, seek and would be greatly encouraged by a pastor willing to join our ministry efforts with program oversight, some active ministry participation, and administrative leadership. We anticipate a schedule that combines and balances routine office hours and ministry participation.

Our family relies on strong relationships to encourage and support one another as we spread the Gospel message and prepare the next generation to follow Christ. We seek a team-builder who will invite participation, encourage collaboration and delegate as needed. Qualified candidates should possess a college degree with a minimum of 4 years pastoral experience. This position requires routine office hours as well as ministry participation.
