Bethel Church exists to glorify God by making fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ who worship and exalt him in all things. We strive to fulfill this purpose as we: devote ourselves to the preaching, study and application of God’s Word; seek the Lord in earnest prayer; experience the power of authentic, life-changing fellowship; and engage our community and the world with the gospel. In other words, Bethel wants to glorify God, make disciples, and reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Bethel is a multi-campus congregation located in Northwest Indiana. Our vision is to see this area transformed by the gospel through preaching, ministries, and outreach. We currently have campuses in Crown Point, Cedar Lake, Gary, and Hobart/Portage. If we aren’t in your community yet, we hope that we will be one day. From social media to YouTube to other forms of online content, this person will create and implement a strategy to help disciple our online community. The goal is to meet people where they are and to help funnel them to in-person community. We desire to partner with parents and support them as they raise their children to love and serve Christ. We are looking for a passionate and motivated leader who loves helping our kids reach those goals. The Pastor/Director of Kids Ministry is responsible to pursue excellence in the ministries provided to children (newborn through 5th grade) and their families which includes programming that is engaging, of high quality, and safe.
