Cush Christian School

South Sudan

Cush  Christian School is one part of the ministry of Cush4Christ, a church planting team belonging to the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America.  Students begin with traditional classrooms for literacy in their mother tongue and then English.  In Grade 2 they move into an independent learning curriculum from the U.S called Accelerated Christian Education.  Most of our older students have teaching responsibilities every morning, so we are educating kids and at the same time training teachers.  We have been a primary school since beginning 8 years ago, but this year we expect our leading students to begin secondary classwork.  Actual classroom instruction is primarily in grade one and in the different Bible classes.  The needs of students in the independent curriculum are largely administration, supervision, guidance, tutoring, and testing.  CCS is eager for people to consider helping us - people who love kids and love the gospel and are bold to bring those loves to South Sudan.
