Northwest Community Church exists to glorify God and make disciples by passionately guiding generations through Gospel Transformation, one home at a time. Our vision is that we would be a family of disciples, making disciples. We believe that disciples are most often made one conversation, one relationship at a time, as we help people learn to follow Jesus - trusting Him, abiding in Him and obeying Him. We are committed to seeing people truly follow Jesus - and equipping them to help others do the same. We do this through the teaching & preaching of God’s Word, engaging with one another in Biblical community, and equipping one another to “go” into our neighborhoods, networks and the nations to share the Good News.
We are a 12 year old portable church that meets at Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC. Being in a suburban area, our church family includes a large number of families with school-age children. We believe that parents are to be the spiritual leaders and disciple-makers in their home. We are part of the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, surrounded by universities, technology, engineering, and pharmaceutical industries. These growing companies and organizations are creating a very diverse community. We have cultural influences from both the “Bible belt” as well as a very international population. We love that our responsibility to take the Gospel to the nations often only involves a walk around the corner, a conversation with a neighbor, co-workers and classmates, or running errands.
