CCC Summer Youth Ministry Intern Job Description   Job Description:   Cornerstone Chinese Church is looking for an energetic Summer Youth Ministry Intern to help with the demanding needs of our growing youth ministry. We are located in a newly renovated facility in the western suburbs of Chicago (Villa Park), so this is an exciting chapter in our church history. This is a great opportunity for those interested in engaging with youth in a suburban ministry setting, as well as a cross cultural ministry experience with seasoned elders and pastors. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Provide spiritual nurturing through biblical instruction, counseling, and discipleship. Ensure the quality of the Cornerstone Chinese Church programs below. Children’s Ministry Plan, coordinate, and lead a children’s worship service every Sunday for children pre-K to 6th grade.  This includes providing a prepared short sermon lesson, organizing a worship time and assigning other helpers.  The student pastor will not be required to delivery the message each week but must coordinate the assignment of lay teachers as needed. Youth Christian Education Ministry With the Christian Education Committee, plan, oversee, and supervise the Sunday school programs for nursery through high school.  This includes recruiting, equipping, and mentoring of lay teachers and helpers to grow a quality Children’s Sunday school program.  Develop a comprehensive school age to high school curriculum.
