His Mission

The mission of Allegan Bible Church is to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked. Jesus' command to His church was to love God with every fiber of our being and to love our neighbor as ourself. Jesus showed us that this kind of love actively pursues a relationship both with God and people, therefore we seek to do the same because "Love Acts".

Our Vision

Our vision can be summed up in two words "Love Acts". We believe that God's Love, Acts through and in us to be a church of grace-filled people, empowered for personal discipleship and gospel transformation, so that the Gospel is faithfully transferred from person to person and generation to generation. As Jesus Christ works in and through us to fulfill His mission and pursue this vision, we expect to see results because "Love Acts".

The Method

The biblical preaching and teaching of God's Word is the backbone to our method. To dig deeper into His Word and cultivate fellowship among His people we meet in smaller groups. Groups are an essential but new and still developing part of our church. They provide a place where Love Acts in deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one another. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This "each other" is called His Church.
