Lake Community Bible Church is an IFCA affiliated church that was established in 1990. The church started out in a small building on the property and in 1997 a new church building was constructed. As we grew, we added on to the church building in 2003. The addition almost doubled the size of the sanctuary and added a secretary’s office, study for the pastor, library and a fellowship hall. We have 30 members and 11 associate members. The basic membership of the church is made up mostly of retired people. The church is located in a resort area where we are surrounded by lakes. A number of the members go south in the winter time leaving us with an attendance of about 40 to 45 during that period. In the summer months the attendance will swell to about 75 to 125, due to the resort families that come into the area. In spite of the lower attendance during the winter months, we are looking for and are financially able to support a full time senior pastor.

We are a church that is run by a board that is made up of two elders and three deacons with the pastor also attending all board meetings.  This arrangement allows the pastor to devote much of his time to his spiritual leadership duties and other pastoral duties of the church. Our normal Sunday schedule has a Bible study at 9:00 AM, morning service at 10:00 AM and an evening service at 5:00 PM. We also have a children’s church during the last half of the morning service and a staffed nursery during the summer months. During the summer and fall months we have a women's Bible study and in July we have a one-week children's Bible camp, where we hosted 100 kids the summer of 2019. We offer Bible studies and a number of fun activities during the week. During the 2019 camp several of the children committed their lives to Christ. This is definitely the highlight of our camp week.

The church also has a newly remodeled parsonage that is about three hundred yards from the church. It works well as our previous pastor was only expected to be in his office on Wednesdays, even though he was most generally available by phone any day of the week.

We are a love filled church with a very close church family and we are looking for a spiritual leader that will help us to continue to grow in our walk with our Lord and Savior and grow Lake Community Bible Church in its membership.
