Countryside Bible Church

Detailed Job Description Functions/Responsibilities Countryside Bible Church is seeking a church-planting pastor who will spend several months working as an elder at our church, getting to know our ministry, teaching, leading and shepherding, while helping our elder team finalize a plan to plant a church in the Spring Arbor, Michigan, area (25 minutes north of us).  The church-planting elder should embrace the calling to connect with the community of and surrounding Spring Arbor, and to determine the most effective ways to reach them with the gospel.  During the months ministering at Countryside, the planter should be growing in pastoral leadership and evangelism, while working to build a healthy core of believers who will partner in the establishment of the new church.  Note: We already have an established team of elders to work with and help oversee this plant.
