Founded in 2000, NCA is a board-governed Christian classical school in the liberal arts tradition. Our goal is to develop young people who can think deeply about important issues, mature and flourish as human beings, govern themselves by reason, and freely extend compassion to others because of their Christian faith. Extended engagement with the Western Tradition of education informs the content and rigor of our curriculum, and an abiding conviction that truth can be known enlivens our academic quest.

Though ethnically and geographically diverse (39.3% minority; students from 16 different suburbs), NCA is a unified PreK-12 community of learning structured with the goals of the graduate in mind. Arranged into three sub-schools, Grammar School (PreK-5), Logic School (6-8), and Rhetoric School (9-12), our high school program develops students who are not only able to maintain disciplined academic focus, but also possess the critical thinking skills and humility to pursue their studies with openness and discernment.
