The mission of Kearney Evangelical Free Church (Kearney eFree) is this; Building a transformational community, by growing in love with Christ, and all people. That’s why we exist. Our staff team runs hard towards this mission, and our vision that Every Person Matters. Roughly 1700 people call Kearney eFree their church home and attend one of our 2 Sunday morning services, or connect online. 

Kearney, Nebraska is a “micropolitan”, that has the community dynamic of a small town, with the benefits of a small city. With a population of 33,000, Kearney has an extension of the University of Nebraska, two hospitals, several parks and lots of unique charm. 

The Ministry Internship Program is a one-year commitment of approximately 40 hours a week with housing, compensation and benefits included.
