Sanctuary Bible Church is a Bible-based community church in Carmel Valley, Monterey County, California with a rich history on the Monterey Peninsula. Our ministry teams (comprised of both staff and volunteers) offer teaching and fellowship for the very youngest of our congregation to our seniors. All of this is supported through Adult Sunday School, Children’s Church, a robust mid-week ministry (including Awana, Youth Group, and Adult Bible Study), a host of both men’s and women’s ministries, and of course strong biblical teaching. SBC is a true family of believers focused on growing our relationship with God and making Him known in our community.

              We see our church in a new phase of development and growth. Our congregation has a strong desire to reach young families as well as continue to serve the more-mature of our body of believers. This is an exciting time of God’s leading us into the future of His church through the combined efforts of those who have served our congregation for many years and the next generation of leadership. Building upon the great foundation that we have on the Monterey Peninsula, we want to present our church as an inviting and engaging discipleship church with a strong heart for service and missions locally, nationally, and globally.

              We recognize that who we are as individuals, and as a corporate body, comes from the free gift of salvation that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gives us.
