POSITION PROFILE FOR FULI-TIME PASTOR
Old Bridge Baptist Church (OBBC) exists to make disciples of Christ who connect with
God, others, ministry and the lost. We are a small, historic, gospel-centered, multi-racial
Baptist church with a rich heritage dating back to 1840. We thank God for his
faithfulness over the years, but we have our eyes fixed on the future as we seek a fulltime
pastor to reach this present generation for Christ.
THE MAN WE SEEK:
 1. Pastoral in conduct- demonstrating a heart for shepherding the church (1
Tim. 3: 1-7;Titus 1: 6-9)
 2. Gospelcentered (1 Cor. 15: 3-4)
 3. Great commission minded (Matt 28: 18-20)
 4. A team player
 5. A self-starter
 6. A proven ability to lead
 7. A heart for church revitalization
 8. A people person
MI NI MUM QUALI FICATIONS

1. Scripturally qualified (1 Tim 3 :1-7, Titus 1: 6-9)

 2. Degree or certificate from a Bible college or seminary or working towards
that goal
