Love in the Name of Christ of Lake of Lake County (Love INC) is a Christian non-profit that mobilizes churches to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ. Love INC is part of a national movement of over 120 affiliates that operate as independent 501(c)(3) organizations. 

Love INC partners with 65 different churches and is the bridge between those churches and the congregants who want to serve people in need in Lake County. Over 600 volunteers work on opportunities that Love INC manages on behalf of the churches to provide needed household goods (furniture, beds and bedding, towels, kitchenware, clothing and other household necessities to those in poverty. Our serving efforts are designed to build relationships so that we can help people address the issues that keep them in poverty, rather than just provide a hand-out.

A principle way we do that is offer a curriculum of life skills classes at partner churches to teach skills relating to goal setting, budgeting and financial management, relationship maintenance and job opportunities.  All is done while working to help the person achieve the potential God instilled in them.  We also work to connect people in to a church body that can further create a community of support and care. 

All this is done to glorify God and to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
