Homewood is a friendly, caring church of about 300 people that gathers together in Moline, Illinois. Our mission statement is, "to connect people with God and others through Christ." We are committed to the Bible as God's Word, doing our part to fulfill the Great Commission, loving the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and our neighbor as ourselves. We value ministry to families and children so we have a full-time Director of Children's Ministries to help us carry out this priorities. Our current Director of Children's Ministries is retiring in August after five good years of ministry. We have many willing volunteers who come alongside this staff member and a youth pastor, administrative secretary, lead pastor and elder board who will support him or her as well. We are looking for a person who loves the Lord and kids, will emphasize outreach into our community, has the ability to teach children, is enthusiastic and passionate about ministry, is strong relationally, has training in Bible & children's ministry and is compatible with EFCA doctrine and distinctives. We are fervently praying for our Father to send the right person to us.
