Nondenominational Christian church. 

Doctrinally, all authority is vested in the Lord Jesus Christ as the head of the Church, and in the written Word of God (the Bible), as the only authority and revelation of Christ’s will for His people.

Under the authority of Christ: Elders, selected and set apart by the members of this congregation, shall serve as shepherds of this congregation, overseeing its functions and activities.

The purpose of Wilmington First Christian Church shall be: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the
age.” [Matthew 28:19-20 NIV]
