Lakeview Covenant Church is a Christ-centered church that is located in the suburbs of Northbrook, IL. We are seeking a part-time Children’s Ministry Director for our English congregation to overlook the 1st to 5th graders generally for Friday evenings and Sunday mornings (occasional special events).

Responsibilities include:

• organizing Sunday morning worship services (includes preaching and overall functioning of the ministry).
• organizing Sunday School classes, events, and special events.
• recruiting and training (e.g. discipleship) of teachers.
• holding PT (parent-teacher) meetings to inform the parents of Kidsland activities and to get their assistance.
• leading the Friday night AWANA program with the Kidsland2 Director.
• working with the Kidsland2 Director for joint events (e.g. VBS).

At Lakeview, we believe no ministry should ever “stand alone” on an island. We are here to provide financial, emotional, spiritual, and parental support and guidance so that God’s Kingdom will be furthered in every way for His glory.
