LWEC is an evangelical, Chinese heritage church (Chinese culture, although an asset, is not required for this role). Most students are 2nd generation Chinese Americans, who have grown up with Chinese culture and language at home, but American culture and English language at school. Overflow Youth Group has approximately 70 students from 6th-12th grade.
