Job Title: Chicago Campus Initiative Fellow (Full-Time Mission Staff) 

What if you could work with college students, be on a church staff, and receive intensive ministry mentorship while getting paid? 

We’re looking for young leaders interested in ministry, who want to do something meaningful with their lives. CCI’s 2-Year Fellowship Program is designed to be an entry-level ministry job that offers a chance to gain experience, be trained in the classroom, and be apprenticed in the field, so that when you’re done, you’re ready for whatever God has next.

Who We Are: 

Chicago Campus Initiative is a joint initiative of Cru and the Anglican Church of North America trusting God to reach every campus in Chicagoland and raise up a new generation of church leaders. There are 44 college campuses in the Chicagoland area and 30 of them don’t have a missional Christian ministry. The CCI Fellowship Program trains young leaders in this ripe harvest field, helping them integrate church life and ministry life, and equipping them to be skilled laborers wherever God calls them next. 

What Would I Actually Do as a Fellow for CCI? 

  • Receive training in three cohorts: 1) Evangelism and Discipleship, 2) Theology, and 3) Pastoral Skills
  • Be apprenticed in how to do campus ministry 
  • Host student events (e.g. volleyball games, group activities)
  • Do evangelism on campus
  • Disciple college students 
  • Plan and lead a City Group (small group) of college students 
  • Serve at a local church
  • Walk intimately with Jesus by cultivating a robust prayer life, studying of God’s Word, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, and living in community with other believers
  • Raise support for prayer, salary, benefits, and ministry budget by gathering a support team through Ministry Partner Development (MPD)
