- Size: average of 100 members
- Demographics: average age of 55; majority Anglo with a few Asian, Hispanic, and African American; middle class; suburban, small town; several small churches in the area
- Beliefs/characteristics: major beliefs are outlined/explained in the 'Exploring LBC' packet/folder that is given to new members; some examples of additional distinctive beliefs include all male teachers in mixed gatherings and how communion is administered; biblically conservative on moral issues; worship that is a mix of traditional and contemporary; enthusiasm for local and worldwide missions; debt free; open to encouraging a change to reach a wider demographic; have regular adult Sunday school classes and prayer meeting

2)Who should the pastor be: Should be able to relate to the entire demographic of the congregation; seminary graduate; married with a family/children, who are also part of/involved with the church; expository/exegetical preaching style; 5-10 years previous experience in pastoral ministry; supports Latino ministry; willing to live within a reasonable distance of the church; willing to build a good relationship with other area pastors; long term view/vision for being at LBC (10+ years)
