In the heart of every person is a longing for something more than this world has to offer. We try to fill this void with relationships, pleasure, possessions, and success – all of which will ultimately leave us feeling empty and wanting more. God's word says that the only solution for this eternal longing is found in living out our created purpose by glorifying God and walking in dynamic relationship with Him.

We call ourselves a Vertical Church because we desire that God's glory would be at the center of everything we do. From our unashamed worship and unapologetic preaching to our gospel-centered community, everything we do as a church is about the person, work, and word of Jesus Christ.

It's not about what we want, not about what's easy to say, and not about what feels good. We know that when we seek God above all else, making much of Jesus Christ, we will experience the life-changing power of the Spirit.

This is what we were made for.
This is why we're vertical.

We are one church with two locations on the beautiful shores of West Michigan.  We are committed to live preaching at both locations, and equipping our people to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  We push our people to Worship, Walk, and Work for Christ and to see the blessing that follows obedience to his Word.  We planted as a brand new church the fall of 2010 and have seen God grow and transform our ministry, and the lives in our ministry, in ways we never anticipated.  It's all for His glory alone in the bold proclamation of the Gospel.
