At One More Child, our mission is to provide Christ-centered services to vulnerable children and struggling families. We serve hundreds of thousands of individuals annually through direct-care and advocacy services while providing more than 19 million meals for those in need. We serve foster children, trafficked children, hungry children, single moms and struggling families.

We are looking for individuals who are humble, hungry, wise and called. Here’s what we mean:

Humble -  We are looking for employees who treat others with respect, the type of person who puts others first. That means we are willing to admit mistakes and take responsibility for our actions. We share credit and emphasize the team over self. This doesn’t mean we are passive or are afraid to advocate for truth. 
 
Hungry - We are not an organization satisfied with the status quo, but rather, we are striving for quality work and optimal outcomes for those we serve. 
 
Wise - We want employees who ask good questions and have great judgment. They are the type of person who is likely to listen and hear others before speaking. Our employees should have high emotional intelligence and be self-aware. In other words, can the employee read the room and respond in an appropriate manner? We seek employees who are difficult to offend and understand that they are not always right in all things.  
 
Called - The Gospel should be the center of who our employees are, both at work and at home (and all places in between). Above all, we do our work in the name of Christ. We hire Christ-followers who are called and ready to serve foster children, trafficked children, hungry children, single moms and struggling families.
