The iconic three story building known as “the Big, Brown Church” was built in 1940 to house the newly formed Enterprise Community Congregational Church. The Community Church was a merger of the local Presbyterian and Methodist churches.

If you would like the rewards and challenges of serving a rural congregation in a
remote and stunning corner of Oregon, we have an opportunity for a three quarter time
pastor to continue momentum built over the past five years. Although, like everyone,
we were disrupted by Covid, we have regained our footing, and experiencing positive
momentum once again. Our engaged members are committed to spiritual growth, and
are active in our community. We are looking for a minister who can bring a passion for
growing spiritually in the Congregational tradition and inspire others to do the same.

About the Congregation:

You’ll pastor a group of 36 engaged members, with another 21 who attend occasionally,
with average worship attendance in 2021 of 26, and trending upward in 2022. You’ll
notice we have lively weekly Bible Studies with 12-18 attending. Sunday school for
children is during worship service. We have opened our church for social events once
again, and we are enjoying coffee hour after worship service.
