First Medina is currently in its 190th year of actively sharing the Gospel of Jesus. We are constantly working to help people to experience and share the hope of Jesus. We are a congregation with a broad and balanced range of ages. Forty-two years ago we started a Christian school, which is now led by an independent board. Preschool through 6th grade still meets in our building. The 7th-12th grades meet in a different location. We have a close and positive relationship with the school.

 Our services are contemporary, but not cutting edge. We incorporate hymns regularly, but not weekly. We normally do expository sermon series, but occasionally incorporate topical series as well. We currently have two services on Sunday, youth ministry and Awana meet on Wednesday. Of course, there are other groups and studies meeting during the week as well. We regularly schedule prayer nights and worship nights.

 We are loosely connected with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches and it’s Ohio affiliate the OARBC. We also partner with several local churches from a variety of denominations for service in our community.
