The Wakakusa English Program is a ministry that provides a Christian presence in the city of Tamura, Japan by sending English speakers from America into Japanese schools as English teachers and assistant English teachers.  Through being excellent teachers, we earn the respect of the people of Japan and then share the love of Jesus with them. 

Teachers receive competitive pay, benefits, travel to and from Japan and a work with a Christian team.  Teachers typically leave for Japan at the end of March and teach in Japan for two years.
