Beersheba is uniquely positioned in the New Hope community, 8 miles southeast of Columbus, Mississippi and 3 miles from the Alabama border. The congregation represents occupations from attorneys to insurance agents to business owners, educators, housewives.

Founded in 1825, Beersheba Church is a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Beersheba looks back with gratitude but forward with commitment to serve the redemptive purposes of God in our community and beyond.
