Monroe Bible Church is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America in the Forest Lakes District. The church was founded in 1967 and is a healthy mix of generations that interact well with each other. A Hispanic congregation is also part of MBC and shares the church building. There are currently two pastors, two services in English with an average total attendance of 270, and a service in Spanish averaging 60 people. The church is characterized by over three decades of stability and longevity of pastors. MBC’s commitment to minister to the community is most visibly seen in a second facility and the recovery ministry that takes place there.
