Kawkawlin Community Church

On April 17, 1921, Kawkawlin Community Church became official. The church grew, land was purchased, and a phase one worship facility was constructed. In the following decades, several construction additions led to a worship facility shaped like a Greek cross. In 2019, a fire devastated our ability to meet for worship in our facility and the COVID-19 pandemic extended it to a 15-month absence. These events devastated our momentum and tried to shut our Church down. We firmly believe not even the gates of hell can shut us down. For 102 years, Kawkawlin Community Church has been a community where many people have come together for worship and service, focusing on the biblical essentials and leaving the non-essential divisions behind. We are people with grit, have persevered through the tough times, and used our downtime to make significant changes to our leadership structure. Now, we are ready for a strong spiritual leader to lead us into doubling or tripling our weekend worship attendance and more. We are a people who help others to heal, discover support, and strive for spiritual and numerical growth.
