The Board of Elders is charged with selecting new elders and disciplining those elders who are so deserving. The Pastor is a member of the Board of Elders.

There is no church membership.

Our doctrinal statement:

·        God’s Word We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be inspired of God, without error in the original writings, and of supreme and final authority in all matters of life and faith. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)

·        The Nature of God We believe in one God eternally existing in three equal persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, John 6:27; Hebrews 1:8, Acts 5:3-4; Matthew 28:19)

·        Jesus Christ We believe that God the Son became incarnate in the person of Jesus Christ, being born of the virgin Mary, and is true God and true man. (John 1:1, 14; Galatians 4:4-5; Philippians 2:6-10; 1 Timothy 2:5)

·        Sin We believe that man was created in the image of God, that through willful sin he fell, incurring spiritual death and thus, that all human beings are sinful both by nature and in practice having within themselves no possible means of salvation. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; 5:12,19; Galatians 3:11)

·        Salvation We believe that the only means of salvation is through the Lord Jesus Christ who died as our substitute for the death which we deserve, and that salvation is a free gift to anyone who places their trust in Him. (John 1:12; 3:16, 18, 36; Acts 4:12; Romans 1:16-17, 8:1; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5)

·        Security We believe in the eternal security of the Christian. (John 5:24; 10;28; Romans 8:29; Hebrews 7:25; 1 John 5:13; Jude 24)

·        The Holy Spirit We believe in the Holy Spirit as the Third Person of the Godhead who regenerates, indwells, baptizes, and seals all believers in Christ and fills those yielded to God. (John 14:16; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 6:19, 12:13; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18; Titus 3:5)

·        The Church We believe that the church exists in two parts, the universal church which is composed of all believers and the local church which is a group of believers who are joined together for the purpose of worship, fellowship, and evangelism. (Matthew 16:16-18; Acts 2:42-47; 1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 1:20-23)

·        Baptism & Communion We believe that Christ ordained the observance of water baptism and the Lord’s Supper until He returns. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

·        End Times We believe in the imminent return of our Lord for His church, followed by the tribulation and His Second Coming to establish His earthly reign. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; John 14:1-3; Revelation 20:1-6; Matthew 24:21)
