Our Mission
Love God – Love People – Make Disciples
Our mission is simple. We exist as a church to love God, love people, and make disciples. That’s it. From preaching to teaching, from small groups to outreach and everything in between, our fellowship is committed to living out The Great Commandment and the Great Commission:
The Great Commandment
Matthew 22:37–40 (NIV) - 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
The Great Commission
Matthew 28:18–20 (NIV) - 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Our Vision
To be a church that is faithful to the mission of preaching the Gospel and making disciples, both around the world and in our neighborhood.
Because we are a church on mission, we believe that everything we do should be focused on being and becoming the church God wants us to be. Our vision is to be faithful to the call to love God, love people, and make disciples. While how our vision plays out will change based on our people and the community we serve, we always want to be a church that is defined by our mission. We are a church that is “On mission for Christ to make disciples of the world.”
