Calvary is a church of about 1000+ in a town of 25,000 on the Mississippi River, so we are a big church with a small-town feel.

• We are multiethnic and multigenerational with English, Spanish, and African congregations, so we are one church with three expressions striving to reach all the people groups in Muscatine.
• We are an 80-year old church that wants to stay young and vibrant and reach out to our community, yet encourage believers to go deep in their faith to look more like Jesus.
• We are located between Iowa City (University of Iowa) and the Quad Cities, so we are surrounded by a larger population base as well as a lot of agriculture.
• We are located on the Mississippi River so the city is quite active with activities on the river, fishing, hunting, as well as healthy businesses who have located here.
