Christ Community Church (CCC) in Waseca, MN is seeking a spiritually mature, Christ-
centered, Associate Pastor to support the church’s mission through leadership in
discipleship, worship, outreach. This man will be passionate about equipping others,
facilitating authentic worship, and advancing the gospel in our church and broader
community.

Job Description: Associate Pastor
Position Title: Associate Pastor
Reports To: Lead Pastor/Elder Board
Employment Type: Full-time

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Discipleship and Teaching
   · Build and shepherd small groups and Bible studies for adults, coordinating with the Pastor of NextGen ministries regarding kids, students, and young adults.
   · Develop and implement discipleship and evangelism strategies.
   · Teach and preach on select Sundays (specific number to be agreed upon annually).
   · Equip and encourage the spiritual wellbeing of ministry leaders, volunteers and small group facilitators.

2. Worship and Technology
   · Collaborate with the Worship Team to coordinate worship services.
   · Serve as a worship leader as needed (instrumental or vocal ability preferred).
   · Train and oversee volunteers in music, sound, and visual technology.
   · Proficient in or able to learn software like ProPresenter, Song Select, Subsplash, and sound booth systems.
   · Work alongside creative and tech teams to support CCC’s mission through Sunday services and online presence.

3. Outreach and Community Engagement
   · Lead or support outreach initiatives locally and online.
   · Help communicate the mission of CCC through effective use of technology and social media.         

   · Identify and encourage opportunities to build relationships with the unchurched.
   · Participate in community activities as a representative of CCC.

Skills & Abilities:
   · Strong leadership, organizational, and team-building skills.
   · Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office technology.
   · Ability to mentor others in their faith and witness.
   · Able to communicate effectively in both large and small settings.
   · Knowledgeable with digital platforms for communication, content sharing, and promotion.
   · Bilingual or experience with Latin culture/language is a plus.

Qualifications:
   · All pastors at CCC also serve as elders; therefore, character qualifications based on 1Timothy & Titus are central to this role.
   · Formal Bible or ministry training is required.
   · Minimum of 3 years of ministry experience preferred.
   · A calling and passion for Gospel-centered ministry.
   · Holds or is willing to obtain EFCA credentials.
   · Demonstrates a teachable spirit and Christ-like character in speech, behavior, and relationships.
   · Agrees to and will comply with CCC’s constitution and statement of faith.

   · Must be willing to invest in the vision and spiritual life of the church and community.
   · Candidate will be part of a pastoral team and is expected to possess a collaborative heart for ministry.
   · Christ Community Church is associated with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA). We desire this person to be involved in District and National events and conferences as able.
