This position directs, plans and implements the employer development functions for the Engineering Career Center by marketing and expanding UIC’s presence with local, regional and national employers. Participates in the career preparation of undergraduate and graduate students by utilizing best practices and developing strategies and programs for the career preparation of students. Functions as an integral part of the team within the Engineering Career Center, as well as the College of Engineering administrative group. Creates strategies and implements activities to directly increase the number of employers recruiting UIC engineering students for internships and full-time hires.   Essential Duties:   Promote and generate visibility of the Engineering Career Center with local, regional and national employers.
