Dear Moody College or Seminary Student,

New Life Baptist Church in Lake in the Hills, Illinois is looking for a young man to serve in a part-time pastoral position anywhere from 10-20 hours per week. This is a paid position.

We would prefer the person have previous experience in some church ministry. That could experience could be in a summer position or other part-time role.  The type of experience we are looking for could include the following areas: teaching, outreach, discipleship, worship leading, and/or preaching. We are flexible with what the exact responsibilities will be. We will work that out with the individual when someone is identified that we believe is the person God has for us.

New Life Baptist Church has been in existence for 28 years. We are a church of about 60 people. We are a very caring and loving group of people that mirror their pastor’s characteristics in that way. Our pastor planted this church and has been the only pastor we have ever had. In addition to pastoring he is a chaplain with the Lake in the Hills police department and some other local businesses.

We believe we can do more for Christ in our area and are seeking an additional staff member to help us accomplish that. We regularly have visitors in our services. We have good unity in our leadership team and willing servants in our church.
