We are looking for a leader who is fearless and has unwavering belief in the inerrancy of the Bible, and at the same time sensitive to the developmental stages of the children in order to teach them in a relevant and effective manner. We expect your leadership in leading the team to dream and come up with different ways to best minister to the children.   Leader of a Team We are looking for a leader in a team of six (family minister, special need director, full time and part time children directors). A leader who looks forward to working in a team setting and not shy away from responsibilities and making difficult or at times unpopular decisions. A leader who takes an active role in resolving staff conflict or differences in opinions in a biblical and God honoring manner. Your temperament sets the tone for the team as well as the overall ministry. We are looking for a leader who speak and act in a manner that reflect and honor our Lord (1 Tim 3:2), who can bring and bridge people together instead of promoting self/departmental agenda.   A team among A TEAM Children Ministry is one of the many ministries within FBCC. This is a ministry where it’s largely reliant on the partnership with adult congregations, but at the same time a ministry where they ask for support in their events, training, equipment, facility, etc. We are looking for a leader who humbly serve within this bigger TEAM. Develop outreach activities and events designed to ATTRACT families Develop strategies and platform to KEEP families   Develop pathway for the families to COMMIT to the church and Christ    Minister and communicate the needs of children ministry regularly         SUMMER ACTIVITIES     Directly responsible for the planning, implementation and oversight of any Summer opportunities Developing a menu of effective ongoing Summer events and ministries Oversee the development of publications, promotion and enrollment of Summer ministries Be responsible with hiring and training of Kidz Shine (Summer Camp) staff which include directors and teachers  Lead and provide the Kidz Shine staff with wholistic understanding of ministry direction as well as biblical framework Oversee and evaluate the wellbeing and effectiveness of Kidz Shine Directors       SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY   Oversee the improvement of the ministry Oversee and evaluate the wellbeing and effectiveness of Special Needs Director Support and work with the director on facility, equipment, budget, material, etc.     BUDGET DEVELOPMENT AND SUPERVISION   The Children Pastor is responsible for the development, evaluation and management of all budget areas pertaining to the Children’s Ministry.       FBCC STAFF ACCOUNTABILITY   Attend monthly church council meeting Attend monthly church prayer meeting Contribute in attitude and actions as a team player with the pastoral team.
