Mount Shasta is a small mountain community of 3,500 in far Northern California. Located at the base of 14,179 foot Mount Shasta, one of the tallest and largest volcanoes in the Cascade Range, our area is blessed with spectacular scenery showcasing some of God’s most magnificent creations. A host of excellent multi-season outdoor recreation opportunities, including hiking, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, whitewater rafting and rock climbing, among many others, are just minutes away.

First Baptist Church Mount Shasta is a thriving, non-denominational Bible Church. We appreciate our roots in the historic church and are dedicated to the principles of the Reformation, including, first and foremost, the authority and sufficiency of God’s Word. Our church is fortunate to have members of all generations gathering together and we seek to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in our unique local mission field and wherever else God wills us to endeavor. 

The Discipleship Associate Pastor will oversee the discipleship ministries of the church; cultivating a multi-generational ministry where authentic, transparent, Christ-centered relationships are formed and people are connected, cared for, and grow in their faith.  The primary demographic includes K-young adults.
