We are looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced babysitter to help care for our 10-month-old son. We are based in the Lakeshore East area of Chicago and are looking for someone available for occasional date nights as well as daytime babysitting when I need to run errands.

We would love to find someone who:

• Has hands-on experience caring for babies
• Has a good understanding of infant development and age-appropriate play
• Is warm, patient, attentive, and dependable
• Prioritizes safety and is comfortable following parents’ routines and preferences
• Is confident with feeding, diaper changes, naps, and engaging a baby in a thoughtful, interactive way
• Communicates clearly and professionally

Our family also has a 15-year-old dog who is very sweet and calm, so comfort around dogs is important.

There may also be potential opportunities to travel with us in the future, though this is not required.

This role is ideal for someone looking for occasional babysitting hours with a family who values kindness, trustworthiness, and experience with infants.
