Since 1844, Wakeman Congregational Church has served this community in the heart of north central Ohio. We are a growing, independent, non-denominational evangelical church striving to become biblically directed in every aspect of ministry. For this reason, Wakeman Congregational Church left the United Church of Christ in 2014.

The vision of Wakeman Congregational Church is to be a center for the reverent worship of God and for the biblical instruction of believers and their children. (Acts 2:42), and a source of light and salt in the community (Matthew 5:13-16).

The mission of Wakeman Congregational Church is to glorify God by making disciples in Wakeman. and the surrounding area, calling them into a devoted fellowship of worshiping and maturing believers; teaching, learning, and growing together in obedience to Christ; investing in one another; and sending them out to be salt and light into the world, starting with Wakeman.
