Northshore Bible Church is seeking an associate pastor of worship whose primary calling is
to shepherd the congregation through Christ-centered corporate worship.

This is not simply a music position. We are looking for a man who is a shepherd first,
theologically aligned with our church doctrine, and able to lead people spiritually while
leading musically. The right candidate will shape not only what our church sings, but how
our church worships.

COMPENSATION
$60,000–$75,000 + benefits + relocation (if applicable)

ABOUT US
Northshore Bible Church is an independent, multigenerational church founded in 1985
and located in Covington, Louisiana. We average 185 adults on Sunday mornings with
two identical services at 9:00am and 10:30am. We are committed to expository
preaching, discipleship, and missions. Our worship style is blended, combining hymns
and sound biblical contemporary worship songs. We take the theology of our songs and
hymns very seriously, as we express our love and devotion to Christ.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (65% – WORSHIP MINISTRY)
 Plan, organize, and lead all corporate worship services in partnership with the Senior
Pastor
 Lead Sunday services and special gatherings with excellence and intentionality

 Select biblically rich, doctrinally sound songs aligned with church theology
 Oversee any worship team rehearsals
 Recruit, train, and disciple worship team members including youth
 Oversee audio/visual volunteers and worship technology
 Ensure services are Christ-centered and congregationally engaging


SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES (35% – ADULT MINISTRY)
 Oversee and participate in adult discipleship (small groups, men’s ministry, young
adults, one-on-one)
 Assist in leadership development of adult volunteers
 Provide pastoral care alongside the Senior Pastor
 Assist with assimilation of new families
 Opportunity to preach or teach periodically as gifted


QUALIFICATIONS
 Meets biblical qualifications for eldership (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-5)
 Strong theological grounding and agreement with church doctrine (Doctrinal
Statement)
 Minimum of 2 years ministry experience
 Vocal ability & instrumental proficiency (guitar or keyboard required)
 Experience with worship technology and production
 Demonstrates spiritual maturity, leadership, and initiative
 Bible College or Seminary training preferred
