Delphi Christian Church is a small (30-40 attendees), independent Christian Church governed by a Board of Elders, Deacons, and Trustees.  After 15 years of service our current pastor is looking to retire.  We are interviewing for a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) Pastor who will also have the opportunity to work a second job if he so wishes.  Our local school system provides opportunities for substitute teaching, tutoring, driving a bus, etc. which would also allow our candidate opportunities to be involves within the community. 

Expectations/responsibilities include:

Conduct Sunday services and other ministerial functions; participate in community functions on behalf of the church; coordinate special services with the staff or board and program chairmen.

Compensation annual package will be in the range of $32,000 to $35,000 annually.  This is an excellent opportunity for a young graduate to gain experience and be mentored by an experienced pastor.  This is also an opportunity for an olde pastor who would like to "retire'" to part-time.
