Delaney Street Baptist Church (delaneychurch.com) is an established, conservative, Southern Baptist Church located just south of downtown Orlando, FL with an opening for the position of Senior Pastor.  The successful candidate must be an ordained Southern Baptist minister, called into the ministry by God, with a Seminary degree and with pastoral experience. The Senior Pastor is responsible for supervision of a staff of seven and has the following additional responsibilities:

The senior pastor is the spiritual and administrative officer of the church. This shall include all spiritual matters and other affairs not designated as legal responsibilities of the trustees. He shall work with all parts of the body of the church to reach God’s vision. He shall mentor other ministers and staff and hold weekly leadership meetings with them. He is expected to preach the gospel, administer the ordinances, and exercise overall guidance over the spiritual welfare of the church. He shall seek to improve his ability to minister by attending seminars, retreats and evangelism training in accordance with his call letter. He shall act as moderator of all business meetings of the church when present and shall be a voting member of all standing committees. The senior pastor shall also meet regularly with the deacons and work with the deacons for the spiritual well-being of the church. The senior pastor shall hold an open forum once every six months with the church body to facilitate the church working toward common goals.
