The mission of Rumney Baptist Church is to honor God by making and growing fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
The vision of Rumney Baptist Church is “to be a place where everyone has the opportunity to hear in an understandable way the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, experience spiritual birth and growth, to observe growing Christians in real life, and reach out actively to our local and global communities.”
Founded in 1799, Rumney Baptist Church has served the Baker River Valley Region faithfully. Church families come from a 20-30-mile radius. The church has a history of strong pastoral leadership, solid biblical preaching, and most recently has grown in witness and outreach to the local community. Current worship attendance averages about 65 and the 24/7 Youth Outreach has about 20 teens involved weekly. Nursery and Children’s Church ministries serve families, and small groups meet throughout the year.
