Position:  Full-time, permanent Pastor

Position Description and Duties:  This is a full-time, permanent position at Cut Bank Community Bible Church in Cut Bank, Montana, a small, rural community of approximately 3000.  The pastor’s duties include performing all scriptural duties of the office including preaching, administering the ordinances of the church, and visiting members as time permits.  The Pastor shall be an ex-officio member of all boards, committees, organizations, etc. of the church.  The Pastor shall perform other duties connected with the church as may be delegated to and accepted by him.  The Pastor shall abide by the Word of God in his life as the Holy Spirit enables him, teaching and preaching, taking great care in all his conduct so as to be an esteemed man of respect in the congregation and in the community.   The Pastor shall give a report at the monthly Elder meeting, the Quarterly Congregational meetings, and a written report at the Annual Business Meeting.  The Pastor is directly accountable to the Board of Elders for the conduct of his ministry.

Qualifications:  The Pastor shall be fully qualified as a Minister in Word and doctrine, shall be sound in Christian faith and in his presentation of the Word of God; shall be a worthy example in his life and learning and shall abide by the Statement of Faith as set forth in Article 3 of our Articles of Incorporation (1 Tim. 3:1-7).
