City or Area Mobilizer
(only one of these positions in any one location, not both)
Objective: To work with the City or Area Director and Campus Staff to secure commitment from churches to partner with ISI in order to give every student in the region an opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.
Reports to: City or Area Director, or Regional Field Director in the absence of local leadership
Supervises: Church Team Trainers only in areas in which there is no City/Area Trainer

Educational/Experience Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in higher educational environment required
• Minimum of two years of work experience which encompasses people management
• Demonstrated work experience in administrative skills of communication and strategic planning will be given preference, as will prior ministry experience with ISI or another international student ministry
• Ordination or commissioning prior to or as soon as possible after assuming this position is highly recommended

Responsibilities
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Recruit strategic churches into partnerships with ISI.
Assist church leadership in selection of Church Team Leaders in partnering churches.
Develop and lead Church Team Trainers.
Assists the City Director in implementing the ISI national strategic plan in the city/area and complementary local plans, especially as they pertain to church involvement in implementation of these plans.
Assist the City Director in imaging ISI to the community and churches— “tell the story.”
Assist the City Director in developing financial resources within churches.
Establish and maintain information-reporting systems (stories/data) as requested by Home Office.
Encourage FSAs and International Office leadership to partner with ISI.
ISI authorizes staff to perform various ministry functions including, but not limited to, leading Bible studies, praying, leading ICFs, planning, directing, and/or supervising the ministry activities of others, and planning and developing the content of religious activities or other events and activities with students and other ISI participants. When appropriate staff may preach and teach the Word of God and perform sacerdotal duties, such as officiating for baptisms, weddings, funerals, and the administering of Holy Communion.
